Twin Peaks Has Starters For Sale.
(Preview)
Twin Peaks, by my latest count, 229 starts on the roster. We really like our core of your starters (Rodriguez-Smyly-Salazar) but have some veteran arms who we are looking to move. You can have one of these guys round out your rotation; Twin Peaks is looking for a decent outfielder or DH type: Edinson...

Rome note to Santa
(Preview)
Dear Santa, Rome could really use a catcher, another good reliever, and maybe a 5th outfielder who hits LHP really well.

Shiner/Rome Gift Exchange
(Preview)
In the spirit of Christmas or maybe boredom, we closed a deal last night. Shiner sends Yonder Alonso and Alonzo Jones (see what we did there?) to Rome for Chad Bettis and Preston Tucker. Exciting! Hey, the trasaction wire has been very quiet lately. Surprise is already grumbling about Yonder's in...

Surprise Scores a Shortstop!
(Preview)
Reeling from Strat's latest brutal rating shaft of one of their projected starters, Surprise desperately scrambled for a solution and found one with their old enemy, Santa Fe. So anyway, Surprise liberated Asdrubal Cabrera from SFE, sacrificing poor innocent Anthony Alford along with $40K to h...

Nick Markakis or others available
(Preview)
My grand plan for Markakis to have a RF-1 and thus be my CF with a CF-2 was thwarted by Strat with a RF-3. That being said, still a good bat (682 PA, .306/.398/.397 vs. righties). Looking for a CF. Could also move Albert Pujols or Prince Fielder if it made sense. Email matt.lamphear@comcast.net if intere...

Surprise Scrambling for Shortstop (among other things)
(Preview)
Wow! Strat seems determined to increase the degree of difficulty for Surprise this season. Last week's unpleasant revelations about Eaton and Zobrist were bad enough, but today was even worse. Uribe worse than expected at 3B is annoying, but Peralta dropping to a SS-4 is a killer. Apparently S...

Full-time ss2 with decent bat available
(Preview)
Per Strat's just-released range ratings, Asdrubal Cabrera is a ss2. He's a full-time guy with a .740 OPS while hitting in a big pitchers' park and a very slight better-against-RHP split. Looking for the usual picks and prospects.

Adam Eaton Anyone?
(Preview)
Less than 2 weeks ago, I was very excited about acquiring this young OF who had a great 2nd half and will have an excellent card vs. RHP. However, Strat brutally shafted him on defense to help replicate the vortex of suck that was the 2015 White Sox. I expect him to regain his rightful CF-2 soon, but Surp...
