Game 6: Penny vs Schmidt

High Desert jumped out to the lead in the 2nd on a Varitek walk and hits from Payton, Casey, Robles, and Green scoring 3 runs.  These would be the only runs Penny and the bullpen would need as they dominated Camden only allowing one run in the 3rd on a Lee homerun.  High Desert added 2 more runs in the 5th on homeruns from Green and Sexson.  Penny got the 5 to 1 win, with Schmidt taking the loss.

Game 7: Lee vs Martinez

The deciding game 7 started of with a 1st inning run from Camden on a Crawford double, Guerrero HBP, and a Molina single.  High Desert would answer in the 4th on a Sexson walk and a homerun by who else but Payton.  Camden would tie it up in the 4th on hits by Guerrero, Molina, Boone, and a Matsui walk.  Camden scored the go ahead run in the 7th on a Crawford walk, Lee single and an error by Betancourt, and a Rivera walk.  The error placed Crawford at 3rd and Lee at 2nd with 2 out, the go ahead run would score on a Mike Stanton balk.  High Desert answered right back with a Glaus homerun.  This game would be decided in the 10th inning with Nathan on the mound.  Rivera lead off with a single, followed by a Guerrero single, then Larue laid down the sac bunt.  With runners on 3rd and 2nd with 1 out High Desert pulled in the outfield and infield, but Aybar was able to come through with the game winning hit.  Isringhausen got the 4 to 3 win striking out 1 in his 1/3 of an inning, Pedro got the no decision after going 9 2/3 innings, while Nathan ended up with the loss.

As you can tell it was a great series, extra innings in game 7.  High Desert was led by Casey, Guillen, and Payton, there bullpen also had a great series.  The Sanders injury really hurt as both teams play in Minute Maid and Sanders had a ton of power in this ballpark.  Guerrero and Pedro carried Camden, with strong performances from Rivera, Molina, Matsui, Hardy, and Vizquel.
