In exchange for Gausman and an exciting DGG #8, Surprise sent the following to Diego Garcia: SUR #1, $200K in Florida Gator memorabilia, the venerable Charlie Morton and 3 prospects - Jackson Ferris, Harold Rivas and William Schmidt.
Whew! It's going to be awesome when Gausman gets inexplicably shelled in the playoffs, but at least we'll enjoy his 200+ regular season innings this season.
Gators confirm = I've received many decent offers for Gausman over the past couple of seasons, but my ineptitude in availability in the past few auctions convinced me that I would not be able to build a team around him during his "close to his best". A filler, a close regular, 2 long-term dart throws a pick, and cash was enough of a cornucopia of maybes that I hope something works out, lol.
