Soon after yesterday's whirlwind of a C auction, the Austin Greyhounds reviewed the available FA and Rookie options to fill their gaping hole at 1B vs. LHP. They were shocked and appalled by the pathetically sad state of that shallow pool of potential solutions. This dire discovery inevitably inspired feelings of profound regret over Austin's failure to address that need in the auction amid their wild spending on OF and SP. I'm sure this blockbuster will shake the league to its foundations and provide an essential spark for the hot stove of 2nd trading period action!
