Deadwood in the C Auction Aftermath

So yeah, lots of stuff happened! I think Kevin killed a guy with a trident!

In the end, Deadwood lost 3 Cs, kept 2, added 5 new players and by my calculations made a mighty profit of $30K. This team is at least sort of trying to contend, so there's still some stuff to do.

Needs:

  • LH Relief
  • 3B vs. RH to complement (and compliment) Longoria
  • OF vs. LH (bonus points if also playable vs. RH occasionally, good defensively, and/or speedy)
  • Part-time OF with some of above bonus points to spell the main 3 of Rodriguez, Buxton, and Trammell

I'll stop there for now, but am open to other helpful suggestions.

Trade bait:

  • RH RP Zach Pop - pretty young and was pretty good in limited IP, but we have 15 pitchers and need to clear space
  • RH RP Ryan Thompson - pretty good and can close so I'm tempted to keep him, but may not be best use of that roster spot
  • OF JJ Bleday - young with unlimited PA and sure to blossom after trade from MIA to OAK!
  • 2B Gleyber Torres? - probably not and certainly not for spare parts, but let's talk if you're interested
  • IF/OF/DH Juan Yepez? - see above

Cash, picks and prospects are also welcome. If necessary, I can also add cash to balance things out in a deal. Bring on the fabulous offers!

- E
