Confirmed! Shiner management got hammered celebrating the apparent return of MLB and bought some more picks. I thought it was for $60K instead of $60, but those Hollywoo reps were even more wasted than ours, so who knows?
Shiner now has 16 picks in rounds 2-8, with 14 from 4-8. That could present some opportunities for more wheeling and dealing, but we shall see. There are 17 roster spots to fill somehow. Adding so many picks does make our least loved prospects (Hudson Head and Christopher Morel) are more expendable, so please make me an offer if you're interested in liberating them. Surprise also still has some prospects who could be sold to make room for fresh meat.
