Hey, the Zombies want to make trades too! Are they trying to contend this season? Well, I'm not completely opposed to the idea, so let's say TBD. It would make the season more interesting if they filled those gaping holes, so let's see what happens.
Needs: 2B and SP are the top priorities, followed by 3B/1B vs. RHP, then maybe relief pitching.
Stuff Available:
Joey Votto - Veteran 1B is coming off A contract and had a solid .841 OPS vs. RHP.
Amed Rosario - Disappointing season, but SS is still young and cheap, pretty good vs. LHP.
Justin Upton - Veteran "OF" wasn't at his best, but did show plenty of power vs. LHP. Only B2 coming off C.
Cameron Maybin - veteran is a decent 4th OF type, but we don't really need him.
Cole Tucker - Young SS played OF and 2B because Pirates are weird. Okay vs. LHP, but not helping much this season.
Rick Porcello, Kyle Gibson, Jordan Lyles - Grouping these veteran hurlers together as all have seen better days and maybe they will again!
Logan Allen - Young lefty was a top prospect not so long ago. Tough on lefties in his limited IP.
E Players who I don't love as much as the rest: Carlos Rodon (TBD-LHP), Jonathan Ornelas (TEX-IF), Anthony Seigler (NYY-C)
