Shiner sends 1B Matt Olson with young infielders Anderson Tejeda and Tyler Callihan to Bali in exchange for Starling Marte, CJ Cron, Rafael Montero, and Yairo Munoz.

It's a bittersweet day in Shiner as Olson was drafted #1 in 2015 and has been a key contributor for the past 3 seasons...at least until the playoffs. However, we feel obligated to vigorously defend our title and the new additions should help with that. This is the 2nd time that Aaron and I have made trades involving Marte and Munoz, but #3 involving Tejeda. Fun!

Best of luck to Olson and the others who are Bali-bound. We're excited about welcoming the new guys to Shiner.  It should be another exciting season!
