HAR would strike first with a Santana 2 run shot in the 1st. TER answered in the 2nd with a Belt 2 run blast of his own. HAR responded with a run in the 3rd with Stanton knocking in Locastro. Stanton would add a 2 run blast in the 5th (2 roll on a bp 5). TER loaded the bases in the 6th with no outs and would score 2 runs off a Workman walk and a hit by Joyce. That would be all the scoring as Workman, Gallegos, Morin, and Hale would finish out the game. HAR 5-4
Game 2 - Fiers vs Lynn
TER would score first on a Muncy HR in the 2nd. HAR answered with 3 runs aided by a Brantley missed x chance and error. TER tied it up in the 3rd on a Newman single and Wade Jr HR. HAR regained the lead on a Lindor solo blast in the 6th. Lynn would go 8 and Morin closed it out. HAR 4-3
Game 3 - Font vs Buehler
Buehler didn't have his best stuff and gave up 3 homeruns (McNeil 2 and Bryant 1) with TER finding themselves down by 4 after 3. With lead HAR went to the bullpen early pulling Font after 2. TER would claw back with solo shots from Muncy and Alvarez. It wouldn't be enough as HAR added an insurance run in the 7th and the bullpen held on for the win. HAR 5-2
Game 4 - Strasburg vs Fried
It was all HAR early, they built a 4 run lead on HRs by Lindor and Desmond. TER would pull within 3 and chase Strasburg in the 7th with HRs by Newman and Verdugo. A Santana solo HR in the 8th would add a much needed insurance run. TER would score a run in the bottom of the 8th aided by a Harper error that would have ended the inning. Morin would come on to pitch the 9th and close out the win and series for HAR. HAR 5-4
Once again another really tight series, no blowouts and all the outcomes could have changed on one hit. Congrats to Tom on a really good team, too embarrassed to go back and look but this might be the first time I have ever won a series against him in the playoffs.
