Robles will get BRK on the board first in the 2nd with a solo shot. Schoop would answer with a solo shot of his own in the bottom of the inning. Arenado put CMD up in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 out 2 run hr. Will Smith would tie it the very next inning with a 2 out 2 run game tying single. Trout followed the next inning with a solo shot to give BRK the lead but Machado would respond with his own hr in the 6th. The score would stay tied until the bottom of the 10th when Yelich would walk and steal 2nd ahead of a one out Arenado single allowing Yelich to beat the throw home and walk it off. CMD 5-4
Game 2: Castillo vs Woodruff
CMD used solo homeruns from Bell, Gallo, and Arenado to build a 3 run lead. BRK would get on the board in the 7th with a Chapman walk to McMahon then a passed ball followed by a wild pitch, but that would be all the scoring. Hendriks gets the 2 inning save. CMD 3-1.
Game 3: Marquez vs Morton
Morton threw a gem but it wasn't enough. A Bell solo shot in the 4th gave CMD the lead. BRK tied it up in the 6th with another run off Chapman with a Soler hit followed by a Rojas rbi. A Seager single and Sanchez double gave CMD the lead back in the 7th. CMD would hold on for the win using 13 pitchers in the process. CMD 2-1.
Game 4: Syndergaard vs Alcantara
BRK would strike first with an Abreu solo shot. Camden answered with a 2 run hr from Sanchez. BRK tied it in the 4th with Smith scoring Abreu on a hit. A Seager double in the 6th scored Cave and Acuna. BRK would get 1 run back in the 7th on a Segura hr, but that would be it. Hendriks would close it out for his second series save. CMD 4-3.
Congrats to Jon on a really good team, every game was close. Pitching on both teams held down some great bats.
