The post-championship gap year went pretty much as expected for Surprise, but they might be somewhat more competitive in the sure to be bizarre 2021 season.  Of course, that will depend on how well they navigate this treacherous offseason. 

Available Zombie players include Joey Votto, Amed Rosario, Asdrubal Cabrera, Justin Upton, Cameron Maybin, Brett Philips, Kyle Gibson, Rick Porcello, Jordan Lyles, and Logan Allen. 

Our shopping list includes SP, 2B, and 3B. Of course, young talent is preferred!    

Surprise has also a bunch of solid veterans with cheap contracts like Aguilar, Canha, Cervelli, Dickerson, Hicks, Nola, Maldonado, and Jeffress.  My current plan is to keep them, but would reconsider for a tantalizing offer.  With such a cheap roster, SUR also has plenty of cash to help purchase the guys I want.
