For the first time in a while, I didn't have a team in the bottom 5 so I got to actually run the random draw for the first pick this year!

Our candidates:

ISL (26 wins)

MUD (26 wins)

DGG (49 wins)

MIS (52 wins)

DAV (53 wins)

Per the rules, it's a weighted draw, so ISL and MUD each had a 9-in-30 chance, DGG had a 6-in-30, MIS had a 4-in-30, and DAV had a 2-in-30.

While I drew in proper order, for suspense purposes I will reveal the order from 5th pick to 1st pick.

So, getting the 5th Pick in the 1st round is.....DAV.  No surprise there as DAV had the 5th-worst record.

The 4th Pick in the 1st round is....DGG! A slight slip for Don to drop from 3rd worst record to 4th pick, but still nothing shocking.

The 3rd Pick in the 1st round is....ISL.  Bit of a shaft for Tristan, who tied for the worst record in the league.  I assume that the Strat gods are still penalizing his family for CMD's shocking 2018 Championship.

The 2nd Pick in the 1st round is....MIS, jumping from the 4th worst record to the #2 overall pick - I'm sure our new owner will appreciate this!

And that means that the #1 overall pick goes to....MUD!  Which in a sense is great for everyone, because we all know that Phillip will sell it.  I am not authorized to announce that bidding on the pick has officially started, but, I mean, you know....
