Surprise had a rather weird auction, mostly adding veterans and coming pretty close to net zero thanks to some expensive Cs departing. At this point, they could really use a real OF to displace Phillips and a SP with some innings. They're not going to compete this year, so I'm more interested in quantity with some future potential than present quality. Trade bait includes cash, SS Cole Tucker, and maybe SS Amed Rosario. This team has a serious MIF glut! I would also consider dealing veteran corner IF Joey Votto and/or Asdrubal Cabrera for some interesting young talent. Veteran pitchers Jordan Lyles and Pedro Strop could also be had for the right price, although I would be very reluctant to deal Lyles at this point without getting comparable starts back. So, who wants to make a deal?
