Just before their official shop opening, Surprise snuck in to close a deal with Diego Garcia. Surprise sends veteran catcher Robinson Chirinos and Australian lefty Lewis Thorpe to DGG in exchange for veteran catcher Francisco Cervelli. Thanks to Robinson for his 3 seasons with the Zombies. As for Thorpe, we drafted that guy WAY back in 2014 and he's somehow stayed on the roster through our many trades since then. Alas, he'll have to make it somewhere else. Best of luck!
