Teetering on the brink of bankruptcy after spending recklessly at the CFA auction, Surprise jumped at the opportunity to grab some of that sweet Bali cash. In exchange for the princely sum of $80K (and maybe one of those mystery meatball subs), Surprise sends the recently acquired Chris Gimenez to Bali. Thanks for the 37 hours on our roster, I guess. That gives Surprise just enough money to fill out the roster with minimum salary players, so that's a very exciting development. We're still actively shopping Nori Aoki (our other 8 OF make his nice lefty bat redundant) and AJ Schugel (1.97 ERA!). Others are certainly available if the price is right. Other than more cash, SUR still needs another SP with 15+ starts and a decent IF backup.
