So, I've worked everyday since arriving in Bangladesh on the 11th (literally), and I had no idea today was Sunday. Plus I spent the day yesterday in the IOM field hospital hooked up to an IV for heat exhaustion.
Obviously many of my C players were only out there to lower their salaries and I would have matched on them. I will reach out to each of you personally and ask that you allow me that opportunity. I will not hold it against you in any way (except forever) if you don't give me the opportunity to get them back. It is my fault and I accept that.
Except for Raffy Montero (thanks Eric), who seems to never want to come to Bali. Did I miss some news on him? Why the heck did anyone bid on Raffy? He just wanted to surf and chase Indo ladies. What the heck?
Bali never intended to lose both Plawecki and Torrens (the latter for sure), so now I need a darn catcher. Defense is all I'm looking for.
We also were desperate to pick up some 2b/SS PAs, with defense again being the key. Who took Romine again?
As I am now going to have to go back and look at the leaks that those non-matches put in the dyke, I'm not sure what else we'll need. But this definitely took us from feeling quite good about the season, to figuring out how we will field a team.
