Since those expressing an opinion were unanimous in wanting to use Strat Draft for the Waiver Draft, that's what we're doing!
The Waiver Draft will officially begin at 9 am Eastern on SATURDAY 4/1. This is not, for the record, an April Fool's joke.
The Strat Draft site is updated with all available Waiver Players, Waiver Draft Picks, Updated money balances, etc.
Since rosters cannot exceed 60 players from this point, I have taken the liberty of skipping all picks that would result in a team going over 60 players. Of course, you do not actually have to have 60 players if you don't want to (or can't afford) a full 60-man roster.
Picks will be timed just as in the IOD but I have extended the time to run from 9 am to 10 pm Eastern, so 26 picks will be scheduled for every day. As with the IOD, Autodraft is your friend, especially if you set it up to Draft Immediately on Your Turn. Don't make Eric go even further insane by leaving Autodraft on the "Only to prevent a time violation" setting!
The Waiver information on the site (cuts, draft, available players) has also been updated.
Please let me know asap if anyone has any questions or sees anything wrong in the picks or anything else!
Eddie Butler (COL) and Fernando Rodriguez (CHC) have been added to the Available Waiver Players (on the site and on Strat Draft). Cole Brannen has been removed.
