Confirmed!  Surprise clearly needed another veteran to cope with the imminent departure of Buerhle, Thornton, Uribe, and Ellis.  It doesn't hurt that Nelson should also fit right in by hitting many homers.  Thanks to Mr. Duffy for his contributions over the years, including 2 championships, although he missed the one in the middle due to injury.
