As for Surprise, I'm sure everyone will be happy to hear that they look pretty good again for next season despite disappointing seasons from key players like McCutchen, Greinke, and T. Ross.
Their shopping list is: Catcher, CF, and maybe another SP.
Available players include:
1) Andrew McCutchen - This makes me sad, but he's coming off his A contract, so I should move him.
2) Randal Grichuk - Young power-hitting CF. Will only move if I land an upgrade there.
3) Dr. Tommy Pham, DDS - A living legend
4) Welington Castillo - Would like to upgrade at catcher
5) Ben Zobrist - Maybe, if the price is right, but maybe not.
6) Zack Greinke - Just finished 1st year of his 3-year A7 contract, so he's probably not going anywhere.
I would also consider trading prospects, picks, and perhaps some other players.
After further consideration, I'll amend the wish list from CF to any sufficiently awesome OF as Marte could shift over to CF. Who will jump on this exciting opportunity!
