Hello all!  Last night's spending spree has made some SUR and SHI players expendable, so I'd like to find them new homes before the waiver draft.  Here's who is on the block for Surprise:

1) Chris Denorfia (CHC, OF) - 254 APA, excellent OF defense, decent bat vs. RHP, not horrible vs. LHP.  

2) Cliff Pennington (TOR, IF) - 274 APA, decent D at SS/2B/3B, tolerable vs. RHP, won 2 championships with Surprise!

3) Raul Alcantara (OAK, RHP) - E contract pitcher who I like less than my other prospects

4) Felix Jorge (MIN, RHP) - Ditto

I would sell these guys for a little cash or package one or more for an upgrade for that tricky backup SS role.  For a tempting enough upgrade, I would consider adding cash, waiver pick, and/or part with the mighty bench bat of IF Phil Gosselin.
