Good morning!  Congratulations on surviving another year of our CFA Auction Madness!  Unless you didn't, in which case I offer my condolences, but do wonder why you're reading this.  Hopefully a ghost would find something better to haunt than the ARBA Message Board, but I digress...

As usual, the auction was an alternately thrilling and grueling event, with a mix of satisfying wins, frustrating losses, and regretful purchases.  In the aftermath, we must try to make some sense out of what's happened and what to do next with our rosters.  It looks like I'm the first to take that step publicly, which must be a big shock to all.  I'll start with Surprise, who filled most of their needs, but still has a couple open jobs.

1) OF - primary role is RF vs. LHP

2) IF - primary role is backup SS/2B, defense is priority, but bonuses may be awarded for offense and/or 3B viability

I would also love to land a more legitimate 3B solution vs. RHP than forcing poor Zobrist to play there so often, but I won't hold my breath.

Surprise finished the auction with more cash than expected, so I can offer some of that to fill my bench roles.  I would also happily throw in 2B/3B Beckham, who was picked up a cheap contingency option, but really doesn't belong here.  Other players, picks and prospects could also become available depending on what you have to offer.  So, who wants to make a deal?
