Michael from HAV has decided that ARBA is not the right league for him. Taking over HAV (which will presumably be renamed shortly) is Rick Cantor. Rick is an experienced Strat hand and we greatly appreciate him stepping in mid-offseason.

Thanks Mike and Tom, and thank you for having me in the ARBA. I look forward to getting to know everyone and reworking the HAV roster. My first move will be to rename the franchise the Redwood Pioneers. I live in Sonoma County, California (about an hour north of San Francisco), and the Pioneers were a class A Angels team from way back. I'm 51 years old and have been playing Strat since I was 16, and I believe I have every Strat season since then. I grew up a big Cincinnati Reds fan, but have become more of a Giants fan over the last decade (my wife's directive was to pick a local team!), so the biggest perk in picking up the HAV franchise was getting Buster Posey. Just about everyone else on the team is available and I know many of you can't wait to get your hands on JJ Hardy!
