The Zombies just couldn't sit back and let Shiner rule today's Hot Stove headlines, so they made yet another deal.  They addressed their bullpen for the 1st time adding lefty relievers Andrew Miller and Matt Thornton from Twin Peaks in exchange for Yunel Escobar, JJ Hoover, Nick Ciuffo, Victor Caratini, SUR #1, and the ubiquitous $100K.  I sure hope they will live up to the lofty expectations! 

Thanks to Escobar and Hoover for their contributions over the years, particularly with the 2014 championship team!Rumors suggest that everyone will get another shot at acquiring them in the C auction...    

Miller and Thornton will definitely push last year's LH relief acquisitions (Thielbar and Matusz) off the roster.  It will be very sad to say goodbye to Thielbar, who was fantastic for Surprise in the regular season and playoffs.  Both are still decent for next season and would come cheaply, as would fellow reliever Brandon Kintzler.  Given how many prospects I've traded away this offseason, I would gladly ship off any of these extra relievers (and Cody Ross!) for a pick, interesting prospect, and/or spare change.  Just make me an offer and I probably won't refuse!
