Shiner partially alleviated their CFA OF glut by sending Nate Schierholtz, SHI #4, and SHI #6 to Sewell for $300K.  So after being cruelly denied Nate in the auction by a matched bid, Kevin gets his man after all.

SHI would still really like to unload Xavier Paul, Reid Brignac, and Kelly Shoppach...all of whom would be quite cheap.

Others would be available if there's an opportunity to get a semi-warm SS/3B body in return.
