Hey, the 1st trading period isn't over until the end of the month, so I might as well try to keep this going. I've filled the big holes now, but there are still a few opportunities for improvement, if you want to help out.
1) Big Bat - I can shift my current DH combo to RF, so position doesn't really matter.
2) Elite SP - I have enough good SP now, but a truly elite guy would certainly be nice. I'm not expecting success here, but might as well mention it.
3) 2B vs. LHP - Utley isn't bad vs. LH, but he can't quite play everyday, so a platoon partner would be helpful.
4) 1B vs. LHP - Gonzalez can play everyday, but might not if I can find a better option vs. LHP.
5) Backup C - I'd like a good defensive backup for Rosario, ideally someone who brings a decent bat as well, particularly vs. RHP.
I guess that's it for now, although I'm open to other suggestions.
Current trade bait includes:
1) Edwin Jackson (SP) - Would only be on the table for 1-2, not for a bench player.
2) Will Venable (OF) or Nate McLouth (OF) - Similarly, they are only available if I can add a big bat.
3) Marco Scutaro (2B) - Now very expendable!
4) Cliff Pennington (2B/SS) - Rated 2 at 2B and SS
