There has been nothing on the message board for a while so thought I would send out some info.
Just to let everyone know I am a select baseball coach for a program called ABC. In the 5or 6 years that I have worked there we have done a lot with the players. In the Baseball America turnie's we have placed 7th twice, 4th, 5th,and last summer 3rd. Andrew Prater is the owner of ABC. Prater was named the South Reg. Turnie Dirctor for Baseball America. With all of the said I just wanted to tell you all that at ABC/Baseball Solustion (this is the trainning Program), over the past 6 years we have helped produce some good players, College/ Pro. I have had the pleassure of Trainning with,
John Danks,
Jordon Danks,
Nick Peoples,
Taylor Teagarden,
Mamon Tucker( Who is a Coach with us now.).
and many others just to name a few. We have sent kids to college's. such as
UT 14 players,
Tulane 2 players,
Notre Dame 2 players,
Vanderbilt 2 players,
Texas State, U of Huston, UT Pan AM, U of New Mexico, Navy all 1 player.
We have had 6 players drafted over the 6 years. This last weekend in the wharehouse was J. Brent Cox, David Marol, Drew Stubbs, and other UT players. Prater has worked with Ricky Weeks, Prince Fielder.
Prater gets called on once and a while to help out with a movie. He work with all the players in The Rookie, and Mr. 3000, yes even Dinies Quaid and Berenie Mack.
In our ABC program we have about 100 to 120 high school kids a year. We work their developmentle skills year round.
So to sum this up, I am surounded by a talent pool of young players.
