BTM trades Oscar Taveras, BTM's #1, and HAR's #2 to ELY for Josh Beckett.

Beckett  had been rumored to go to SFE.  He's relieved that he got traded to BTM and he didn't have to exercise his no trade clause.  Beckett had heard from his old pal David Ortiz that SFE is a terrible place to play and that the owner's ego is out of cntrol.

BTM's owner's only comment on obtaining Beckett was "Capitulation, may ass!"

Not to rain on anyone's trade parade but BTM owns HAR's #3 not their #2.

I hope BTM has enough beer in the clubhouse to satisfy Josh!  Not that I'm judging him.  I've gone through quite a few of those while playing the World Series against that vile Tomlinson creature.
