Zombies are people too!

Just like last year, I'm making deals for SHI while neglecting SUR.  I guess competing just holds more interest than rebuilding.  Or maybe I just haven't tried enough to sell the Surprise players!  In case it's the latter, here's more than you ever really wanted to know about them.

As with most rebuilding teams, SUR is seeking young and/or bounceback players with tantalizing upside.  In particular, they could use help at 3B, OF, and SP.  Prospects and picks are nice also.

1) Randy Wolf (Mil, LHP, 3.69 ERA, 33 GS) 35 years old, but only a B6. The Zombies are trying to get younger though.

2) Jake Peavy (SD, RHP, 4.92 ERA, 19 GS) 30 years old and coming off A contract to a B10.

3) Juan Rivera (LAD, OF/1B, 573 APA, 805/667 OPS) 33 years old and can help as a platoon OF/1B/DH. B2 contract.

4) Nate McLouth (Atl, OF, 353 APA, 531/743 OPS) About to turn 30 and will be in 4th year of B4 contract. Can play CF and had .372 OBP vs. RHP.

5) Freddy Sanchez (SF, 2B, 287 APA, 656/751)  33 year old missed a lot of time due to injury, but should be healthy starter next season. B7 contract.

6) Wee Willie Bloomquist (Ari, SS/2B/OF, 419 APA, 737/620) 34 year old started for Ari most of the time at SS. 20 SB and good vs. LHP.   B1 contract.  Awesome intangibles!

7) Ryan Ludwick (Pit, OF, 608 APA, 763/644) 33 year old had a disappointing season playing through injuries, but was good not long ago. B5 contract.

8) Jason Donald (Cle, 2B/3B/SS, 157 APA, 949/607) 27 year old IF hammered LHP. B2 contract.

9) Scott Hairston (NYM, OF/2B, 160 APA, 702/886) 31 year old showed a lot of power vs. RHP in limited opportunity. B1 contract.

10) Will Venable (SD, OF, 452 APA, 436/742) Turns 29 later this month. Power dampened by SD park, but stole 26 bases. B4 contract.
