Not to be mean or cause an uproar, but this has to be the worst rule proposal I have ever seen. Because some of us follow hs and foreign players we shouldn't be penalized. How about this, I am sure some people don't follow A ball so why don't we limit the draft to just AA players. From some of the trades I have seen in prior years I am lead to believe that some of us don't follow baseball, so let's do away with trading also.
The rule as proposed also appears ambiguous about kids signed at 16 from overseas. Are they eligible or not, since they are younger than high school seniors? Is someone who petitioned for and was freed of his senior year eligible?
be nice travis i proposed this lol....im sure a few owners in this league dont follow high school ball.....for me its hard enough scouting college and minor league players...i think by doing this the draft wouldnt be as watered down year after year...as for dons question abouit 16 year old foreign players...they would be eligible in draft...there not high school players art
I will be voting a big fat "NO" on this rule...if it wasn't for the offseason (drafting/building a team) I am not sure I would still be in the league...the games are utterly boring for me...the research on the young folks is the fun part.
