With the tune-up of the regular season over, Santa Fe went all medeivel on Camden for a 4-game sweep. I don't have the stats with me, but SFE scored something like 40 runs in the series, capping it off with a 6-0 win in Game 4 behind a Zach Greinke shutout.
Congrats to Camden on winning their division and a great regular season, if a somewhat disappointing finish to the year, and bring on Laramie or High Desert!
It was not pretty as Schmidt, Wright, and Martinez got rocked. If Santa Fe stays this hot it should be an easy defense of last years championship. My pitching let me down and Vizquel, my sure handed 2 defense ss missed 4 x-chances, while the defense of Nomar, Mueller, and Polanco played exceptionally well. Okay, I will quit crying now, I could have at least won one game, I mean it was Greinke for crying out loud.
