afer 4 games hdt has taken a 3 gms to 1 lead.

gm 1 hdt 4 lar 3

hrs from pickering and valent give hdt 4-1 lead and bullpen of calero and nathan shut the door

gm 2

lar 10 hdt 1

lar gets 3 run hrs from manny and javy and rools

gm 3 hdt 6 lar 5 12 iunnings

an instant espn classic. the gm was tied 2-2 after 10 innings. Lar scores a run in the 11th but gets 2nd run thrown out at home. Hdt ties it the bottom on a sac fly. Lar takes the lead again in the 12th on a 2 run hr from lopez. in the bottom half hdt gets 3 straight singles with 1 out and then a ground ball scores a run. a hbp loads them again and then the ghost of bill buckner takes over delgado's body as he boots a ball to tie the game. leiter lost his composure and bb payton to force in the winning run.

gm hdt 7 lar 5

lar bats around in the 1st and puts up a 4 spot. hdt answers with 4 of their own with key 2bs from valent and glaus. hdt takes a 2 run lead when mcmillion a sub .200 reg season OF takes sheets deep. Calero comes in for 3 perfect innings and hdt holds on for 7-5 win.

Investigations are underway to determine whether Laramie's stadium and team offices have actually been sitting on a cursed Indian Burial Ground all this time.  That would sure explain a lot.  There clearly aren't any rational explanations for the Wednesday Night Horror Show, particularly the so-called ESPN Classic of Game 3.  I had better not see any "highlights" of that atrocity televised anywhere...

So, LAR is now on the brink of elimination, needing to win 3 in a row just to earn a date with red-hot SFE.  So much for home field advantage.  Oh yeah, I'm filled with hope at this point.
