Lar takes the lead again in the 12th on a 2 run hr from lopez. in the bottom half hdt gets 3 straight singles with 1 out and then a ground ball scores a run. a hbp loads them again and then the ghost of bill buckner takes over delgado's body as he boots a ball to tie the game. leiter lost his composure and bb payton to force in the winning run.

Investigations are underway to determine whether Laramie's stadium and team offices have actually been sitting on a cursed Indian Burial Ground all this time. That would sure explain a lot. There clearly aren't any rational explanations for the Wednesday Night Horror Show, particularly the so-called ESPN Classic of Game 3. I had better not see any "highlights" of that atrocity televised anywhere...
