It has come to my attention that players who were carded last year and were cut during the cutdown period prior to the waiver draft have been listed as Rookies. While the Rules are not entirely clear on this point, I believe that it is in the spirit of the Rules that these players be treated as Free Agents and not Rookies.
The specific players affected this year are Casey Janssen, Ron Mahay, Pat Misch, and Wil Nieves. I have updated the FA and Rookie lists on the page to reflect this change.
