Schaumburg Offseason Plans

Schaumburg surprisingly won 102 games last season, but still missed the playoffs.  It's difficult to imagine them being better next season, but there's always hope with Albert Pujols around!  So I'll state for the record that he's not going anywhere.  Neither are Markakis or Molina.  I'm willing to at least consider dealing almost much anyone else.

The big prize available is the legendary Ichiro! Suzuki.  I hate to do it, but can't ignore the fact that he would earn an A8 in SCH, but only a B9 elsewhere, which is a bargain.  Beyond that, there's Betancourt if anyone is pathetically desperate for a SS.  Soriano is coming off an A contract one way or another.  I'm not overly attached to Pettitte or Saunders.  Are there any Brad Lidge believers out there?

Anyway, Schaumburg needs help at 2B, 3B, OF, RP (including closer) and maybe SP.

Later,
           Eric
