Unfortunately, I have not heard from Dennis or been able to get in touch with him since before the IOD.
While I am hopeful that he will resurface soon, the fact is that the season is getting under way and it would not be fair to other owners to delay everything in the hope that he will return.
However, in light of Dennis's strong and lengthy track record in the league, I am currently only looking at putting caretakers in place for the teams. It is my hope that Dennis will come back and retake his teams shortly. If he does, the teams will be given back to him. If not, however, the caretakers would have first option at taking the teams over on a permanent basis.
I have already recruited managers to perform this caretaker function, but if anyone else is interested, or if anyone knows of a motivated possible new owner, please let me know ASAP.
Even better, if anyone has actually heard from Dennis recently, please drop me a line.
Still no word from Dennis, so my volunteers will be temporarily taking over the teams.
Kevin has graciously agreed to take care of Davenport. Jon has agreed to take care of Iowa.
Please send road instructions for those teams to them and they will be sending out road instructions shortly.
As mentioned before, hopefully Dennis will turn up shortly and will take over the teams again. If not, Jon and Kevin will have first call on keeping the teams permanently.
