Damn!  There's been quite a trading frenzy lately and yet I've only made 2 deals myself.  I clearly need to fire up the hot stove again.  Another one of my trademark rambling posts should be just the spark...

Surprise is still rebuilding, but doesn't look all that far from being relevant again.  Therefore, I'm content to mostly stand pat and just put some of the extra players in the C auction.  However, I'm always interested in acquiring premium young talent in the form of majors, minors, or picks.  I really don't have the roster space to take on lesser talent in the minors and there's not much more room in the majors right now either.  Of course, that could change if we deal some players.  We are short on the pitching staff, but I'm not too anxious about filling those spots now. 

Available players include Jose Guillen, Nook Logan, Kendry Morales, Damion Easley, Brad Wilkerson, Rob Bowen, Rod Barajas, Mike Wuertz, Shawn Chacon, Mike Sweeney, Craig Wilson (unlimited 1B), David Aardsma (unlimited RP).

If the bait is tempting enough, I would consider dealing almost anyone else, more specifically: Hank Blalock, Kevin Kouzmanoff, AJ Pierzynski, Nate McLouth, Alexi Casilla, Jose Lopez, Yuniesky Betancourt, Oliver Perez, Ben Sheets, and Adam Loewen.  That covers all but 9 major leaguers. 

Available prospects include: Lorenzo Cain (Mil), Jose Garcia (Flo), Mark Hamilton (StL), Jose Mijares (Min), Jon Niese (NYM), Chad Orvella (TB), Jordan Parraz (Hou), Sergio Perez (Hou), Sharlon Schoop (SF), Matthew Sweeney (LAA), Jason Vargas (NYM).

Available picks: I still have all my own picks, plus an extra one in the 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th.  Any of them could potentially be involved in deals.

Okay, that's it.  Although of course I would be most excited about opportunities to acquire premium talent, feel free to propose smaller deals as well.  We do need to clear roster space, so lesser talent may be sold.
