Well, the further I get into my job I'm realizing the less I will be able to partipate in ARBA.  I'm scheduled to be deployed through the offseason this next year from Jan 1 to April 30.(unless something crazy happens), and will be in the rotation and gone from May 1 to Aug 30 the year after that.

So the plan right now is for my old man to play my team while I'm gone as long as I can stay interested.  Having said that, I'm not really looking to leave him with a pile of poo to deal with.

So, in an effort to better my team a little.  I'm gonna throw some guys out there that I normally wouldn't and hope I can fill some holes.

I need:

SS (can trade Crosby back to return ABs)
1B
CF/RF
relief

what I have to offer that might interest some rebuilders.

Andrew Miller (lhp) - Detroit....23 y/o rookie who was a 1st round pick several years ago and made his debut this past season.

Pedro Alvarez (3b) - Vandy (best hitter in college, considered to be the #1 pick in next years draft...Braun and Cabrera make him a little easier to let go)

Matt Dominguez (3b) - Florida (1st rd pick this past season...was considered one of the best bats coming out of HS)

Matt Mangini (3b) - Seattle (1st rd supplemental pick out of Oklahoma State)

Kasey Kiker (lhp) - Texas (1st rd pick...a shorter lefty with powerful stuff)...Think Kazmir/B. Wagner....not sure whether they will move him from starting rotation to closer role yet, Rangers are still trying to decide)

Colten Willems (rhp) - Washington (1st rd pick 2 seasons ago)...steadily making progress and his way through Nats system

Scott Elbert (lhp) - LA(n) - 1st rd pick out of HS, this lefty has been a top5 prospect for the Dodgers for the past couple seasons....he's currently in AA

Jack McGeary (lhp) - Washington....originally slated as a 1st rd pick but dropped to the 6th rd this past season (mainly due to his scholie offer from Stanford and signability questions)...combo lhp/1b, will be interesting to see where the Nats use him.  lhp with junk or power hitting 1b.

Other names, too tired to type about them...

Chris Marrero - (was, of)
Emmanual Burriss - (sf, ss)
Stephen King - (was, ss)
Chris Parmelee - (min, 1b/of)
Reese Havens - (S. Caroloina, ss)
John Drennen - (Cle., of)
Travis Wood - (Cin, lhp)
Brett Jacobson - (Vandy, rph)

Snider, Bruce, and McCutch aren't available especially since I have crap for OF.

Main, Porcello, Harvey might be, but....
