San Francisco Offseason
(Preview)
Following San Francisco's disappointing early exit from the playoffs, management has directed the team to consider going in a new direction heading into 2021. The poster boy for that disappointment is Trevor Story, who despite great numbers and excellent cards, has not been able to translate th...

CLDS: San Francisco vs. Shiner
(Preview)
This CLDS features a rematch of last years epic 7-game series when SF outlasted SHI and made it to the World Series. Once again, Shiner (102-60) would have home-field advantage against San Francisco (96-66). However, they werent feeling confident since SF was the only team with a winning record a...

BRK vs CMD
(Preview)
Game 1: Kershaw vs Syndergaard Robles will get BRK on the board first in the 2nd with a solo shot. Schoop would answer with a solo shot of his own in the bottom of the inning. Arenado put CMD up in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 out 2 run hr. Will Smith would tie it the very next inning with a 2 out 2 run game tyin...

BRK eliminated, time to think about the offseason
(Preview)
Although we were happy to make the "real" playoffs from the WC spot, BRK imploded in 4 straight. So, looking to reload for another run. My biggest weakness this season was the bullpen so definitely looking for help at an elite card level. Flash in the pan guys are just fine. Help at 2B, 3B or OF would be g...

Extra $$$$? VOTE!
(Preview)
The one thing that had the widest array of views was whether every team should get more base cash to account for the extra roster spots available for this season. Both sides had good points and I've personally been on both sides of the issue at different times, so we will have a league vote! To tee up the i...

SPR trade talk
(Preview)
SPR could use more good pitchers as well as help at catcher. SPR has three good 3B in Justin Turner, Brad Miller and Gio Urshela and could trade any one of them for pitching. Guys who could be of interest to rebuilding teams include Scooter Gennett (E) Joe Jimenez (unlimited) Joey Lucchesi (E) and Rob...

SEW trade talk
(Preview)
Sewell has a great start on a pitching staff, but the offense has holes. We could use bats at C, 3B, and OF. Carded players that could be of interest to rebuilding teams include Shohei Ohtani (unlimited(, Ross Stripling, and Luis Rengifo (unlimited). Minor Leaguers, picks and cash can also poten...

EGR offseason
(Preview)
EGR has a roster that is pretty set for next year, but I'm looking for a full-time, big bat OF (preferably LH or switch-hitting), part-time help at 2B, and RH relievers. Draft picks and minor league prospects are most easily moved, as money is in short supply.

Shiner Offseason
(Preview)
While Shiner waits for their date with San Francisco in CLDS, I'll dip a toe in the murky offseason waters. It looks like they should be a contender again, but definitely have some work to do. The top priority is finding Soto some help in the OF as Cain opted out after 5 games and the other guys cratered or...
