im looking for middle infielder with 350 +ab....i can offer cody ross or picks

Y.O.C.

Thanks to everyone for getting their Rosters in on time (and early!). The revised Rosters and Money Balances are posted, as well as the lists of cut players and uncarded cuts. The C List and Free Agent list are also posted, with the order therein being the order that we will bid on each list at the Auction...

Tom T.

Just so everyone knows, SJ is taking advantage of the rule that allows a team with a new owner to cut a player on a long-term contract by excising Jose Lopez and his B6 3x3 without penalty.

Y.O.C.

If anyone else wants to be Commissioner, please let me know or post here by Wednesday the 11th. If anyone does, then we'll have an election and if not we'll have the dreaded Vote of Confidence. Thanks, -Tom

Ye Olde Commissioner

After thinking about the matter further, I don't see any reason to continue the practice of paying dues. Those of you who have already sent them in, if it's a check I will tear it up and if you sent cash I will mail it back. Thanks, -Tom

Y.O.C.

Don't forget, everyone: This Saturday (the 31st) is the last day for trades until after the C/FA auction. Rosters/Salaries are due January 9 - I would be eternally grateful to anyone who could send theirs in early, too! Thanks, -Tom

Wal trades Michael Cuddyer to NMO for NMO's #3 and 400k

Rome is basically done, barring something crazy (note... 'something crazy' can't actually be ruled out), and is mainly looking to dump a few prospects/potential C auction guys. The following players are available for $5k (if you see something you like, feel free to just post it, first come, first...

BTM has two good relievers Matt Guerrier and Brian Fuentes along with UT infielder Mike Fontenot available. Prospects can also be had. Fontenot is rated as a 2 at ss by SOM World and has a .255/.357/.783 line vs. lefties. He also played 2b and 3b. The team is pretty much set but I'll listen to any offer...

BTM sends Yovanni Gallardo and Matt Thornton to MON for Tim Hudson and Andres Torres.

After all the KC trades i realized that I have not really thought about BOS. So i looked at the roster and saw I was short 66 nstarts. I am not going to contend next year so I am calling for all unlimited SP people are willing to trade. So if you have an unlimited SP you were going to cut or just dont want send...

Over the next 3 days Strat will be posting on Twitter (tweetto@stratomatic) 2 players per team's range ratings. Usually the range ratings appear sometime after the middle of the month. Here is what has been posted so far: Balt-M. Reynolds 5-3b, N. Markakis 1-Rf Bos-K. Youkilis 3-3b, J. Ellsbury 1-C...

My Surprise post generated so much attention that I might as well do one for Shiner also. Although I'm content with the current roster, feel free to propose further upgrades. I wouldn't mind making room for another big bat. Shiner would also be interested in trading some of their players and prospe...

With the two rudderless teams finding leadership at last, this seems like a good time to attempt firing up the Hot Stove again, which has been very cold for the past few weeks. The Zombies did finally make a couple trades, but are still seeking young OF and 3B talent to join their developing core. Sw...
