All - Since this is now our ninth year using Strat Draft for the IOD, I think that we likely all know what is going on. BUT, this is all here for our new owners and so that all of the information you should need will be laid out in one place for a reference. Two reminders up front. Please check your picks and...

Washington has positioned itself to only be able to take minor leaguers in the IOD, which is probably a good thing However, we find ourselves short a reliever or two to make it through the season because we haphazardly bid on any breathing OF So, we are looking to move a body or 3 for some pitching or cash t...

Bronaugh is in need of a full time 3B. the trade can be big or smaller depending on the players offered. Bronaugh has 4 top 100 prospects they are willing to deal , dependent on the deal. ( T. Bazzana#10, C. DeLauter#36, R. Lowder#35, N. Meyer #84) Seaver King a top 5 prospect of the Nats could also be consi...

Wow, Austin ended up spending a LOT of money again. I am happy about adding Butler, Herrin and my old pal Heyward but do regret some of their C spending. Available Players:Jon Singleton: 1B has a surprisingly decent bat vs. RH with 446 APA so he was a bargain at $40K but Butler and Heyward made him superfl...

Motivated by the bitter disappointment of their 122-win season ending with an early playoff exit, Deadwood made another move just before today's FA auction. Young IF Colt Keith heads to Brooklyn in exchange for reliever Hunter Gaddis, BRK #5 and $125K in spare change. We wish Colt all the best and lo...

Not like we are a contender this year, so, any kinda warm body with a closer rating we would probably consider, lol. Our "closer" right now is Yimi Garcia, with a 3 closer rating. Carl Stompers'

RED ALERT!!! THE NICK NASTY NASTRINI TRAIN HAS OFFICIALLY LEFT THE STATION! Desperate to stave off their boredom in the weeks between auctions, Austin and Redwood have reached agreement on a deal. Nick Nastrini, Billy Amick, and Jhancarlos Lara will head to Redwood in exchange for lefty Andrew N...

So, having matched a 150k bid for Andrew Benintendi in the C auction, I'm still asking myself exactly why. After a putrid first half last year, he ran an 0.830 OPS in the 2nd half, so the final card isn't terrible, and he offers a ton of at-bats, but he really has no role on this team. Not really sure what I'...

Deadwood balanced their bullpen by sending lefty JoJo Romero and prospect Jefferson Rojas to Washington in exchange for righty Will Vest. The Desperados are still in the market for quality relief and a closer upgrade from Alexis Diaz would be particularly welcome. There aren't really any holes in...

Nick Nastrini tossed a pair of scoreless innings out of the pen Monday against the Rangers.Nastrini averaged 95.0 mph with his fastball today, up from 93.7 mph during his ugly major league stints last season. Even more impressive, his slider was all the way up to 88.4 mph, a gain of nearly four mph from...

With the addition of Sean Murphy and Tyler Stephenson already rostered, Redwood no longer has room for Jake Rogers. Rogers is Detroit's starting catcher and offers great defense and good pop. He has 365 adjusted PA's available, with 16 2B's and 10 HR's, and is a 1e1(-2) behind the plate. Lefty reli...

After a mildly successful C Auction, Washington is looking to keep getting younger now that we have filled a few spots, making our FA bidding decisions easier. Easiest guys to move: Santiago Espinal (good middle IF v L, average/above average defense at 2nd/3rd/SS Rob Refsnyder (great LF/RF bat v L)...
