Draft Stuff
(Preview)
All - Everything from last night is now posted and should be up to date (other than the two trades that were just posted which I'll reflect tomorrow). I'm sure I missed something in the flurry of stuff so please let me know if you see anything that looks off. Thanks, -Tom

SHI/GOL Trade
(Preview)
Shiner continued their flurry of activity, adding their 3rd veteran player of the day, which is an odd trend. This time it's lefty CJ Wilson from Golden, in return for $150K in a garbage bag, IF Andrew Romine (in a separate garbage bag), and Shiner's 2nd round waiver pick. On a related note, swingmen...

Shiner Wants More Trades!
(Preview)
I've only made 12 so far, plus 11 more with Surprise. Surely there are more moves to be made... It turns out that Shiner would really like to add a warmish body with 20+ starts so they wouldn't need to carry so many swingman types, like those on the list below. Gee, didn't I just trade away a pitcher with 2...

SUR/AUS Trade
(Preview)
After drying the copious tears shed over missing out on Negron, Surprise filled their backup IF void by liberating Adam Rosales from Austin in exchange for $160K in buffalo nickels. Will Rosales make Austin pay by getting some big hits against them this season? One can only hope...

SHI/SEW Swap
(Preview)
Shiner's 7th round pick Nick Martinez arrived at this airport this morning to meet the team, but instead was immediately put back on a plane to Sewell. Nice knowing you, kid! On his way to Shiner in return is veteran OF David DeJesus. He won't help much with the lofty 100 HR goal, but at least repr...

Players available
(Preview)
Still need those pesky bench guys and cheap relievers. Don't take a chance on the waiver draft. Shop at Austin's used player mart. After picking up Holt and Solarte, I have part time infielders that won't get to see much playing time. Also an OF'er and a couple of relivers. Will make them available for c...

SUR and SHI Needs
(Preview)
What the heck, I'll post something tonight even though I'm not thinking clearly. What could possibly go wrong? SUR is seeking a quality IF backup after failing to acquire one in the CFA or IOD. Who's available? As for SHI, they have a lot of issues, but mostly want more bats. At this point, they're u...

SEW needs
(Preview)
Gentlemen: Sewell needs a backup catcher, and an inning-eater for the bullpen. I can fill these needs through the waiver draft, but if you have a card you're looking to get rid of that might fit either of these let me know.
